The heavy-duty auger bit is designed for drier digging conditions and compacted soils. Wide outside teeth and inside chisel teeth work together to break up soil in difficult digging conditions. They feature a heat-treated alloy steel boring head, drive-on forged teeth, and heavy-duty double flighting.  

The standard-duty auger bit offers an excellent combination of performance and price for standard duty digging in light to moderate ground conditions. They feature a fabricated boring head, bolt-on teeth, and heavy-duty double flighting.
